The objective of the AIOBENCH tool is to warn partners and customers if the environment (server, network, and virtualization options) supporting their Sage X3 application does not meet the minimum requirements for Sage X3 to operate efficiently. The tool measures database throughput times by creating temporary tables, populating them, and executing intensive queries on them. When complete, the tool provides statistical values for the various tests performed and reveals if minimal performance expectations are met.
Prior to Sage X3 Version 12 Patch 24, the process to run was more manual. Now, starting in Version 12 Patch 25, it's easier to run!
Before we proceed to the how, please note the following two points. It is recommended that the tool be run when X3 has little to no activity. We recommend avoiding running the function during high-peak times of X3 usage, as it causes a performance load on the X3 system for several minutes, which may interfere with daily processing. After logging into X3, switch to the X3 folder. You will get an “Unauthorized function” error, and the task will not launch.
