What is Sage Production Management?

Sage Production Management provides customers with:

• A modern manufacturing management solution build on Sage's Business Object framework architecture, allowing Sage to increase its level of integration with Sage 100cloud.
• Flexible user licensing so that role appropriate features can be extended to shop floor personnel to increase coordination.
• An extensible feature-set, with extensions to support additional functionality like Make to Order, Enhanced Scheduling, and Product Configurator.

What are the available user licenses for Sage Production Management?

• Standard User- full access to all production management tasks
• Shop Floor User- access limited to transactional tasks only

Will Sage continue to support legacy Work Order and MRP modules?

Yes. Existing Work Order and MRP customers will be given the option to continue using the legacy modules or to migrate to Sage Production Management. Sage will continue to support legacy Work Order and MRP modules for existing customers to allow for transition of modifications but Sage Production Management is built as a replacement for Work Order and MRP modules. All Open Work Orders will be converted to the new package. MRP is available but not included with Sage Production Management.

Sage Production Management is built as an upgrade to Sage 100cloud Manufacturing. It is available to customer under perpetual licensing and to those under subscription licensing with the complete bundle. For the full functionality of Sage 100cloud Manufacturing, you will need both Sage Production Management and the Make to Order Extension.
