Written by Mark Severance | Aug 12, 2025 1:55:00 PM

The newest release of Sage Intacct Construction 2025 is here! This release has several new updates for improved efficiency and streamlined processes that we know you'll want to take advantage of. It also includes some improvements to Sage Field Operations and Sage Intacct Paperless. Read some of the highlights below:

Authenticate and validate your custom email domain

All customers who send emails using a custom domain must authenticate and validate their domain with the enhanced email delivery service. This is a non-negotiable requirement as Sage fully transitions to the enhanced email delivery service. Check out our blog to see if you need to take action ยป

Construction Module

Add Standard Tasks to a Project: You can now add multiple standard tasks to a project at once, using the new "Add to Project" bulk action option available on the Standard task catalog page. This feature expedites the process for adding tasks to a project.

Import Change Requests: Easily upload and import multiple change requests by downloading a template and importing them from the Change Request list or the Company setup checklist.

Improved Change Request Grid with Entry Reordering and Line Numbers: The change request grid now includes "drag-and-drop-reordering" and "consistent print order."

New Import Service for WIP Management: Instead of sending your data into a "black box" and waiting for error reports via email, you now have a dedicated import workspace that provides real-time visibility and control. You'll have to download the import template file and fill in the information needed.

Prefill Project on Change Request Entry: The Project field in the Entries section auto-populates with the Project defined in the header of change requests created after this release. You can override this value if you need to and change it to any of the subprojects associated with the project defined in the header. If you're editing an existing change request, you can save change request entry lines with a zero value in the Cost, Price, and Unit price columns and a blank Memo field.

Populate Missing Dimensions on Project Contract Line Entries: Blank or mismatched dimensions are automatically populated when you use the REcalc totals tool in Edit mode.

PO Document Template Includes Summary and Details: Purchase Order templates now include the primary document summary and a detailed breakdown of relevant details like document type, reference number, and key dates for improved traceability.

Specify a Primary Project Estimate Forecast for Quick Access: There's now a "Primary Forecast" checkbox available on Project estimates. You can select the Primary Forecast checkbox on any estimate for the project estimate. However, only one estimate per project can be set as a primary forecast.

Support for Subtotals on Purchasing Change Orders: You can easily calculate and track subtotal revisions from purchasing orders by configuring the change order. Now, when a change document is created, a new Change document options section is available where you can select to sync subtotals with a source document.

The change order information details appear on the subcontract on the "Change documents" tab of the source document.

And the change order subtotals for the purchase order appear on the header.

Update Project Contracts After Billing: You can update the customer on a project contract even after the contract has been billed (invoices created before the change in customer are not updated).

Interactive Customer Report Writer (ICRW)

Two New Report Library Reports: The reports "Inception to Date Balances" and "Date Format" are now available in the ICRW Report library. The "Inception to Date Balances" report tracks day-by-day activity (income, cost, and expense accounts) and balances (asset, liability, and equity accounts) over a specified time period. "Date Format" is a design template that you can use as a basis for customizing your reports.

New Reporting Areas: The following reporting areas have been created to help improve managing payroll, billable project tasks, and WIP forecasts: Payroll report compensation table, Payroll report compensation table rates, Project contract line task, Payroll report pay modifier rate, Payroll report pay modifier setup, Payroll report employee, Payroll report PTO accrual schedule, and Payroll report trade.

Updated Construction Reports: The following reports in ICRW have been enhanced for improved performance and ease of use: AR Snapshot and Aging, Commitment Detail by Cost Code PJD - CRE, Commitment Detail by Project PJD - CRE, Commitment Summary by Cost Code PJD - CRE, Project Cost Entries - CRE, WIP Schedule by Period - CRE, and WIP Schedule by Project - CRE

Sage Field Operations

Automated Tasks Added to User Agreements: The following tasks can be set up to be completed automatically: generate agreement renewals ahead of the expiration date, approve automatically-generated renewals, invoice approved renewals using the period billing lead time, generate PM schedules and work orders associated with renewals, set PM schedules as inactive based on the agreement period expiration, and expire unapproved renewal offers after a specified period of time.

Sage Intacct Paperless

Expanded invoice entry sidebar in Invoice Manager: Find invoices based on any header field on the invoices. Also, mark invoices as "Do Not Pay" to prevent them from being exported into accounting.

Project Manager field:  A project manager field has been added to invoice entry for line types that have job costing. It automatically shows data based on the job coding and can be used to set up routing rules based on the project manager in APFlow.

Tasks with indexes: When setting up "Attach Document" tasks in DocRoute and APFlow, you can now configure specific indexes that must be found on the attached document to complete the assigned task.
