JobOps 2016A Highlights

Managing your jobs across disparate systems? The latest version of JobOps 2016A has been released. This version is compatible with Sage 100 Version 5.30.1.0 and Avalara AvaTax Connect 5.30.02 version 5.30.   Below is an outline of release highlights and resource links. 

JobOps 2016A Highlights

  • JobOps Data Collector automatic update process
  • Service Ticket Entry ship to address lookup enhancement
  • JobOps module not required to be activated in company not using JobOps
  • JOB company data in fiscal year 2016.

Important Tips to Follow

  • Acquire new JobOps Registration keys. New JobOps Registration keys are required upon installation of JobOps 2016A when upgrading from JobOps 2015B or lower.  You must access the Keys page on the JobOps Portal website to obtain JobOps Registration keys.
  • Review the JobOps 2016A Installation Guide and JobOps 2016A Release Notes.This important information is attached to this release email.  It can also be found on the JobOps Version 2016 section of the Downloads page on the JobOps Portal website.
  • Follow the Pre-Installation Check List that is provided in the JobOps 2016A Installation Guide. The Pre-Installation Check List defines important steps to follow when installing JobOps 2016A, such as verifying custom modifications or third party products, installing and registering Sage 100 2016 including Product Update 1 (Version 5.30.1.0) and preparing data files prior to initiating the installation process.
