On October 8, the RKL eSolutions team traveled to the Twin Cities to connect with Midwest construction clients, share product insights, and collaborate with several Marketplace Partners. The event provided a valuable opportunity for users to exchange best practices, discuss common challenges, and learn from one another’s real-world experiences.

A key theme throughout the day was the value of community. Attendees shared tips, explored alternative approaches to everyday processes, and connected over good food and conversation. These peer-to-peer discussions are an important part of helping organizations get the most from their construction technology.

The program also included a look at the future of Sage software. Jenifer Martin, Channel Executive at Sage Intacct, shared Sage’s vision for construction technology, including its commitment to artificial intelligence and the trust guardrails supporting its use. Attendees also learned about forecasting and planning capabilities from Prophix, including tools that help organizations bring planning, consolidation, intercompany activity, reconciliation, cash, leases, and disclosures together on a single foundation.

RKL eSolutions shared updates on Sage HCM for Construction, a complete payroll and human capital management solution designed to give users greater control, improve usability, and automate essential HR, payroll, talent, and workforce-management processes. Marketplace Partner Miter also presented on workforce management in the AI era and ways to make payroll processes more efficient.

The highlight of the event was a client panel featuring Sara from Ironmark Building Co. and Jill from MSP Commercial. Both shared their experiences migrating to Sage Intacct with the RKL eSolutions team. Their stories highlighted the benefits of moving away from on-premises servers, including simplifying consolidations and intercompany transactions, improving dashboard and drill-down capabilities, and supporting future growth.

The panelists also emphasized the RKL team’s commitment to client success throughout implementation and beyond. Their feedback was a meaningful reminder of the value of strong collaboration—both with the RKL team and among fellow software users.

The day concluded with consultant-led training sessions, including Sage Intacct’s new Billing Workbench, how to use Data.Xcel to turn Sage 100 Contractor data into meaningful information, and ways to increase automation and optimize Sage 300 CRE.

Events like this are rewarding because they bring together the people, ideas, and technology that make this work meaningful. We are grateful to our clients, partners, and team members who made the Twin Cities User Group Conference such a success.
