It was time for us to take our own advice.
Big News out of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. RKL eSolutions has completed their migration of all RKL entities off of Sage 500 ERP. It has been a yearlong process, but one of our most important customers – us! – is now fully up and running on Sage Intacct! Yes, we completed the migration of all of our companies off of Sage 500 ERP. We began migrating companies a year ago and we are now taking the last of our companies live.
RKL eSolutions has been advising all companies that run Sage 500 ERP to have a plan to migrate away from Sage 500 ERP. Knowing how important it is to mitigate the risks of continuing to run Sage 500 ERP, RKL undertook this initiative starting in 2024. Like many of our clients, we have some unique processes and integrations that we built with Sage 500 ERP over the past 15+ years, and we needed to plan replacements for these prior to the migration of the RKL eSolutions entity.
Important to the success of this project was our development team designing and creating functionality that would streamline key processes of the RKL eSolutions team while taking advantage of the new features available in Sage Intacct.
When we say we understand the fears and concerns that our clients have about making this migration, we truly do. Sage 500 ERP was limiting our ability to grow in multiple ways and we are looking forward to all of the new opportunities that Sage Intacct gives us.
