The Latest Update in Sage Intacct Construction 2025 Release 2
4:15

The newest release of Sage Intacct Construction 2025 is here! This release has several new updates for improved efficiency and streamlined processes that we know you'll want to take advantage of. It also includes some improvements to Sage Construction Management, Sage Intacct Real Estate, Sage Intacct Construction Payroll, Sage Estimating, and Sage BidMatrix. Read some of the highlights below:

Construction Module

Project Change Orders:  When you post or draft a project change order, you can select Post & continue (or Draft & continue) to keep your document open and continue working with no interruption, instead of having to navigate to the Project Change Order list once the change order is posted.

Lien Waivers for Secondary Vendors: There are now two options for generating invoice lien waivers and payment lien waivers. Checking the box for "Generate additional line waivers" generates an additional identical lien waiver for the secondary vendor whenever you create an Invoice and generate a lien waiver for the primary vendor. Selecting the option to "Generate additional payment lien waivers" allows you to generate joint check payments, secondary vendor lien waivers for all payments, or not generate at all.

Primary Document Details Tab in Purchasing: The new primary document details tab allows you to access all purchasing order documents and invoice details for primary documents in one location.

Historical Project Data in WIP Management: The new work in progress (WIP) History page shows data from all your WIP schedules, so you can see historical trends and create customized sets of data for analysis. It is now also where you can export WIP schedule data.

Real Estate Module

Move Property Feature: The new Move Property feature allows you to transfer all property-related records and data, including units, tenants, and leases, to a new property entity.

Straight Line Rent Feature: The Straight Line Rent feature automatically calculates an equalized payment amount based on the total rent for leases with escalating rents.

Sage Construction Management (SCM)

AccountingLink with Sage Intacct (SIC): New links are available on the Project Menu and the Procurement Overview page to view the Job to Date (JTD) cost details from Sage Intacct. You can map Sage Construction Management tax codes to Sage Intacct tax schedules for Accounts Payable transactions. You can now delete a Sage Intacct change request when an error occurs with the change order.

Sage intacct Construction Payroll

Advanced Reporting: Construction payroll setup tables are now available in Customer Report Writer and Interactive Customer Report Writer (ICRW) for advanced reporting.

Expanded Data Syncing: Jobs, Cost types, Cost codes, General ledger accounts, Entities, and payroll data are now automatically synced between Construction Payroll and other Intacct applications.

Sage Estimating

Merging Estimates: If the positions and descriptions of WBS codes are the same in the source estimates, their positions are the same in the merged estimate. If the WBS codes do not match, but their positions do not conflict, their positions in the merged estimate are the same as in the source estimates. If the positions of the codes conflict, the codes in the new estimate will be placed in the next available position.

Editing Database Items: In the Edit Database Items window, you can now link prices on the Other and Subcontractor columns, not just on Labor, Equipment, and Materials.

Sage BidMatrix

Add Bid Supplements to Reports: You can now report on the individual supplements that were included in each bid package such as bids missing item scope, leveling bids from Clarifications, or even add a general supplement to a subcontractors's bid.

MatrixReportWSupplements

Filter Incomplete Bids and Budgets by Color: You can highlight/color both zero-dollar phases (phases that do not have either a budget or a subcontractor bid) and phases that do not have a subcontractor bid (phases that have a budget, but do not have a subcontractor bid), in the Bid Summary toolbar.
